The Consulate General of France in San Francisco is delighted to invite you to a special evening celebrating Professor Emmanuel Mignot, Stanford University researcher and recipient of the 2026 Albert Lasker Award for his groundbreaking contributions to sleep medicine and our understanding of narcolepsy. A pioneer in sleep medicine, Professor Mignot has transformed our understanding of narcolepsy through groundbreaking discoveries about the role of orexin in regulating sleep and wakefulness, paving the way for new treatments. Building on decades of research, his work also extends to the intersection of sleep science and artificial intelligence, using agentic AI and foundation models to uncover new insights into sleep physiology and its connections to human health. Hosted at the Résidence de France in San Francisco, this special reception will bring together members of the scientific, academic, and innovation communities to celebrate his remarkable achievements.
