Step away from the screen and into good conversation with the Bay as your backdrop. Join fellow community builders, founders and operators for a 90-minute walk along the Embarcadero, where we'll swap ideas, challenges and wins from the work of building community. Whether you lead a developer community, run member programs, organise local meetups or are just getting started in the field, this is a relaxed way to meet peers who truly get what you do. Along the way, we'll mix up walking partners and use a few conversation prompts to keep things flowing. Expect to chat about: 🏵️ Engagement and keeping members active 🏵️ Measuring the impact of your community 🏵️ Burnout and sustainability 🏵️ What's working in your community right now Bring comfortable shoes, a layer for the waterfront breeze, water, and a question or challenge you'd love input on. The route is flat and paved. Celebrating Our Cohort Legends We're also celebrating the wrap-up of The Community Collective's Fall Cohort #9 🎉 Chat with alumni Regina Walton and Tany Rios Castro about their cohort experience and what they're taking back to their communities. The Venue We'll meet behind the iconic Ferry Building, near Cholita Linda, at 1 Ferry Building, San Francisco, CA 94111. Look for our group gathering a few minutes before 1pm. From there, we'll head out along the Embarcadero for sweeping Bay views, sea breezes and plenty of space to wander and chat. It's the perfect setting to slow down and connect. Guests order and pay their own way for any food and drinks.
