Why this evening? Great research becomes a company when the right researcher meets the right co-founder. Research meets Revenue is a co-founder matching event that brings technical and commercial talent into the same room. Each edition is a small, curated evening with around 30 guests: half postdocs and PhDs with research worth building on, half company builders looking for their technical co-founder. We keep it small on purpose, so you actually get to know everyone in the room. The evening opens with a short panel of founders who have already turned research into companies. From there, we move into 1:1 co-founder speed matching, where researchers and builders explore whether they could start a company together. Agenda 6:00 PM: Doors open & welcome snacks 6:45 PM: Opening remarks & keynote 7:15 PM: Speed dating 7:45 PM: Networking over food & drinks 10:00 PM: Doors close Speaker

FAQ Q: Do I need to be a Stanford affiliate? A: No. The event is open to anyone in the Bay Area who fits one of the two sides of the room. Q: I’m a researcher but not sure my work could become a company. Should I come? A: Yes. Figuring that out is part of the point. You don’t need a business plan, just research you find promising. Q: I don’t have a technical background. Can I still join? A: Yes, that’s the other half of the room. We’re looking for operators with experience building, selling or running companies. Q: Can I invite befriended researchers and operators? A: Please send them the Luma link and we will have a look for a match.
