Arpan Sarkar will present his work from the Eddy Lab at Harvard on using protein language models for protein domain annotation! His team developed PSALM, which uses protein language model embeddings to annotate domains at the residue level, moving past the profile HMMs behind tools like Pfam. Everyone is welcome!
