Kick off the holiday season with us! The Beam is teaming up with Bay Area community favorite @jennyandcabbage for a FREE night of crafting, connection and holiday cheer. Grab a seat, meet your neighbors and make your own holiday charm bracelet. Every supply is provided, so all you need to bring is yourself. While you craft, "Rainbow Resonance" a small ensemble from Oakland Gay Men’s Chorus will fill the space with live holiday music. A local food pop-up from Rice & Cracker will also be popping up with their delicious menu too. About Jenny and Cabbage Jenny hosts free creative community events across Oakland, Alameda, Berkeley and the wider East Bay. She keeps them simple on purpose: supplies are included, there’s no cover charge and everyone is welcome. Her craft nights have turned strangers into regulars and regulars into real friends. KQED has even called them some of the hottest nights out in the East Bay. The name comes from Jenny and her toy poodle, Cabbage. Please RSVP This event is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP if you plan to come, and update your RSVP if your plans change so we can make room for your neighbors. About The Beam (paste into every event) The Beam’s Tuesday and Wednesday events are brought to you by The Beam Impact Fund. We’re on a mission to build connection through hands-on, in-person experiences. We do that by making it easy and free for facilitators with something special to share to use a peaceful, open space to share it. Every event is offered free of cost to our facilitators, and they keep what they earn. It’s part of our commitment to charitable giving and accessible creative education.
